Fashion Crisis (September 2015)

September's Fashion Crisis sees the year enter its exciting final quarter by welcoming back the 3TE1 party girls and first-time guest Mayumi from postpunk bands Tessendorico and Pinple, and lo-fi shoegazers Luveless.

This will also be Ian's last Crisis for a while, so before he hands over his precious Can MP3s to James, come celebrate his impending absence in style.

Telephone Club New Year Party (Sunday, January 22nd)

As I've already mentioned in my previous post, Dutch new wave duo Anatopia are currently in Japan and ready to kick off their tour at Shin-Koenji Club Liner tomorrow. Call And Response will hold an event of our own for Anatopia before they shoot off to Osaka and Kyushu next week.

Taking the form of a kind of mini-festival in the warehouse-like underground cavern that is Kichijoji GOK Sound, the event will also feature a raft of Tokyo postpunk, new wave, garage and indiepop bands, with DJ team Youth is Wasted playing tunes in between live performances.

There's no compulsory drink order and you're free to bring your own beer in with you, although we'll try to have cheap drinks available inside as well. It's going to be a blast!

Hyacca in Tokyo (August 2011)

Hyacca will be back in Tokyo on August 6th and 7th, with a couple of very exciting shows.

The first is "Denko Mangetsu Matsuri", an all-night event that Call And Response are organising in collaboration with our friends Tessendoriko and DJ Rally from The Mornings.
